
Zelda Ann Roberts, 76, of Huntington, Texas, passed from this life on Monday, August 10, 2020.
She was born March 19, 1944 in Archie to the union of her parents, Ernest and Mary Coleman.
Zelda worked for Norman Frede Chevrolet in Clear Lake City, Texas for 38 years. She loved reading, working crossword puzzles, and Shiloh Spur Longhorn cattle.
Services were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, August 13, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Jena with Dr. Mark Allen officiating.
Interment followed in the Pritchard Cemetery of Rhinehart under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc. of Jena.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gus Coleman and Jimmie Dale Coleman; paternal grandparents, Walter and Rosa Coleman; and maternal grandparents, Jim and Fannie Pritchard.
Those left to cherish in her memory include her husband, John Roberts; daughters, Shanda Lynn Timmons of Huntington, TX, Teresa “Terry” Pullig (Tim) of Pineville, and Cheryl “Kay” Jenkins (Jeffrey) of Bogalusa; brothers, Terry “Buddy” Coleman, and Joe Paul Coleman; sister, Donna Jean Wiggins; grandsons, Jance E. Floyd of Midland, TX, Chris Pullig of Pineville, Cody Pullig of Lafayette, Austin Trojacek of Houston, TX, Brodie Jenkins and Hayden Jenkins of Bogalusa; granddaughters, Christian Nash of Lake Charles, and Jarra Zann Timmons of Deer Park, TX; great grandchildren, Ashton Pullig, R.J. Burk, Dylan Nash, and Abram Sacra; bestfriends, Genette and Carl Cruse of Onalaska, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Terry “Buddy” Coleman, Joe Paul Coleman, Clift Bomer, Matt Allen, Chris Pullig, and Austin Trojacek.
Honorary pallbearers were Jance Floyd, Jeffrey Jenkins, Carl Cruse, and Cody Pullig.
