Veronica “Vonnie” Renee Parrott, 60, of Jena, passed from this life on Friday, August 7, 2020.
She was born November 9, 1959 in Honolulu, Hawaii to the union of her parents, Bud and Ann Nugent. Services were held
Services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 9, at Zenoria Baptist Church at Zenoria with the Revs. Mark Breland and Joel Johnson officiating.
Interment followed in the Lincecum Cemetery of Georgetown under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc. of Jena.
She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Tristen Bodie; and brothers, J.R. Carter and baby brother Isaac. Those left to cherish in her memory include
Those left to cherish in her memory include her longtime companion, Tony Vernich; sons, Dale Parrott, and Joey Parrott; daughter, LeAnn Parrott; brother, Billy Don Nugent; sisters, Teresa Robinson, D.D. Stamper, and Cindy Barber; and 13 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Dale Parrott, Joey Parrott, Tommy Farris, Cody Barber, Nathan Stamper, and Matt Robinson.
Honorary pallbearers were Gabriel Bodie, Wesley Parrott, Preston Parrott, Braxton Parrott, Hunter Guin, and Tony Vernich.
