Frank W. Kircher

Frank W. Kircher, II, 65, of Jena, passed from this life on Sunday, January 5, 2014, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, PCU, in Pineville. Frank was an avid gardener and always shared what he grew with family and friends. He loved to fish and cook for everyone who came by to visit him. During his working years, he was employed in the oil fields, offshore boats, Proctor and Gamble, and his last job was janitor at Jena High School.
Frank was a quiet, easy going person who was loved by everyone he met and those he knew. His family and friends will miss him so very much. Services will be at 10 a.m.,  Wednesday, January 8, at the Fellowship Chapel, 506 Hwy 1204, in Ball, with Rev. Ben Waites officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery of Colfax under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Alexandria. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie L.
Kircher and Helen Goodger Kircher Capps; son, Rusty Lee Kircher; and two nephews, Larry Smith and Jeff Smith. Survivors include his daughter, Christi Beeson and husband “Bubba”; son, Frank Kircher, III; five  grandchildren, Brittney Lincecum, Brandon Kirkland, Colton Beeson, Marriya Kircher Deville, and Seth Kircher; two great grandchildren, Avie and Waylon; two sisters, Sherrie Wells and Maggie Cowan; one brother, Johnnie L. Kircher, Jr. and wife Doris; three nieces, seven nephews, a multitude of cousins, and a very special friend, Mary Poole. Pallbearers were Cindy Andrews, Terri Ann Pizanie, Barry Smith, Buddy Wells, Johnnie Kircher, III, and James Kircher.
