Barbara Louise Miller, 59, of Jena, passed from this life to her new home in Heaven on Monday, March 30, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Barbara has now won her battle and is at the feet of her Lord and Savior.
She was born March 24, 1961 in Jena to the union of her parents, George “Rex” and Louise Miller.
She was a bright spirited individual that always tried to see the best in everyone. She spent her working career in culinary arts working several places in the Jena area. She will be greatly missed by all that had the opportunity to know her.
In lieu of the COVID-19 outbreak, a graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 1, at the Jena Cemetery, east of Jena, with Rev. Jeff Morea officiating.
Interment will follow under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and nephew, Trent Lisenby.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Justin Cody Allien of Jena; one sister, Brenda Bailey and husband Gary of Jena; two brothers, Jimmy Miller and wife Jill of Jonesville, and Skip Miller and wife Wilma of Jena; and one grandchild.
