
James Edward Mannon, 59, passed from this life on March 24, 2020.
He was born October 24, 1960 in Flint, Michigan to the union of his parents, Edward Lee and Mary Helton Mannon.
Graveside services were held at 1 p.m., Thursday, March 26, at Woodland Cemetery, east of Jena, with the Revs. Joey Paul and Johnny Keene officiating. He was laid to rest with his loving parents, with arrangements under direction of Magnolia Funeral Home of Alexandria.
He was preceded in death by his parents; nephews, Timothy Taunton and Brad Coon; as well as brother-in-law, Robert Campbell.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children: son, James Mikael and wife Loretta Mannon, along with their children, Lily Grace, Cooper James and Declan Drake Mannon, all of Jena; daughter, Ma`Kaela Bree`Ann and husband Cody McClanahan of Hebert; and their mother, Jean Keene of Jena; sisters, Mary Lee Taunton and husband Willie Earl and Linda Campbell, all of Jena; brother, Charles Mannon and wife Denise of Jena; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; along with his faithful friend, Michael Riffe of Winnfield.
Pallbearers were Zac Coon, Dillon Nugent, Vance Keene, Danny Campbell, Matt Taunton and Joseph Cain.
