
Christopher Lane Clark, 51, of Walters, passed from this life on Saturday, March 14, 2020.
He was born November 17, 1968, in Alexandria, to the union of Ronald Wayne Clark and Kaylon Gayle Manning.
Chris was an avid fisherman, often referred to as the “Fishin-Magician”. Chris could have caught a bass out of a mudhole.
Services were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 18, at the Prosperity Baptist Church of Walters with the Revs. Kelton Hays, Byron Gray, and Tommy Sanson officiating.
Interment followed in the Woodland Cemetery, east of Jena, under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nikki Stevenson Clark; three sons, Kelton Hays and wife Aubree, Kyle Clark and wife Alaina, and Kaleb Clark; one daughter, Kinley Clark Doughty and husband Jonathan; Goddaughter, Carly Touchet; three grandchildren and one on the way, Chesney Mae, Tayten, and Hank; his parents, David and Kaylon Smith, and his other loving parents, LaVelle and Betty Stevenson; one brother, Trey Clark and wife Joanna; step-brother, Ken Smith; sisters, Jenny Nielsen and husband Scott, Brandy Brian, loving little sister of 30 years, step-sister Lisa Jawahar; and a stringer full of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Radar Whatley, Chuck Boyette, Hedrick Deshotel, Luther Windham, Mike Touchet, Trey Clark, Kyle Clark, and Kaleb “Mudhole” Clark.
Honorary pallbearers were Seth Brian, Jeffrey Brian, Uncle Terry Manning, John Bookout, Jeremy Lee, Chad Stevenson, Stevie Lowe, Uncle Jimmy Manning, and Jonathan Doughty.
