She was a devoted Christian and woman of faith. She attended Bird’s Creek Baptist Church, Aimwell Baptist Church, East Jena Baptist Church, and First Baptist Church of Zachary, LA. Carole found great joy in volunteering for numerous organizations. Giving and caring for others was her special gift. She saw after the elderly in her neighborhood, volunteered at local nursing homes, as well as the food bank. As her illness progressed she amazed us at the strength she gathered to continue working for God and helping those in need.
Funeral services will be held May 9 at First Baptist Church in Zachary.
Additional services will be held on May 10 at 12:00 at her childhood church, Birds Creek Baptist Church near Harrisonburg, followed by burial at Heard Cemetery in Manifest.
