Elaine Robbins Carroll, 91, of Olla, passed from this life on Sunday, April 14, 2019, at her home in Olla.
She was born October 14, 1927 at Goss, Mississippi, to the union of her parents, Evin William Robbin and Corine Conerly Robbins.
Elaine loved being outdoors and working in her yard. She enjoyed gardening but she especially loved to mow. Elaine was a sweet lady and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Services were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 17, from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Olla with Rev. Johnnie Phillips officiating.
Interment followed in the Olla Cemetery under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Olla.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Ray Carroll; brothers, Ralph Robbins and Windell Robbins; and sisters, Jessie Filippi and Doris Nunnery.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Robert Carroll (Candy) of Winnfield; daughters, Patricia Ann Edington (Donald) of Ruston and Jacqueline Cantwell (Vernon “Butch”) of Pineville; sisters, Shirley St. Clergy, Louie May English and Nelwyn Roberts; grandchildren, Suzanne Edington, William Scott Cantwell (Jessica), Carol Dawn Pirkey (Matt), Megan Carroll, Robyn Lyn Caskey (Gavin), and Caytlin Vick (Nicholas); and great-grandchildren, Ryan Pirkey, Paige Pirkey, Gracie Cantwell, Emma Cantwell, Caroline Cantwell, Liam Cantwell, Karley Elaine Caskey and Colton Caskey.
Family members served as pallbearers.
