Billy C. King, 76, of Ruston, and formerly of Jena, passed from this life on April 11, 2019 in Princeton Place of Ruston, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born December 12, 1942.
Ms. Billy was a sweet spirited soul who enjoyed gardening, crocheting, cooking, and she loved playing Rook. She basically had a “Green Thumb” for growing plants. She worked as a patient care technician during her working career. She had a loving warm heart for others and their needs before her own.
Services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, April 15, in the chapel of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home with the Revs. Gary Norris and Danny Trichel officiating.
Interment followed in the Belah Cemetery of Belah under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry W. King; one daughter, Carla King Fogleman; two brothers, Jerrell Ray Edwards, and James Edwards; four sisters, Cornelia Lincoln, Mattie Graham, Shirley Gibson, and Mary Fosler; and one grandchild, Chelsie Fogelman.
Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Terry D. King, and Carl A. King; one daughter, Kristy King LeJeune; and her nine precious grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jason King, Ethan Funderburk, Garrett Smith, Gavin Smith, Trent Le-Jeune and Alex Reemes.
