
Dudley L. Foster, 87, of Georgetown, passed from this life on Friday, November 2, 2018, at his residence.
He was born on Wednesday, August 19, 1931 to the union of his parents, Edward Dan and Bertha Pace Foster.
Mr. Foster was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and retired in 1995 from International Paper (Pineville Kraft) with 26 years. He served in the U. S. Army from August 1948 to June 1952 rising to the rank of Sergeant First Class. He is a Korean Conflict veteran. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 4, at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery near Georgetown.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Harold E. Foster.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years (married May 29, 1970), Beth Bruce Foster of Georgetown; five daughters, Donna Jeffcoat, Cindy Roberts, Pamela Bruce (Mike), Kim Sweat (Johnny) and Amy Terral (Scott); brother, Max R. Foster; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bailey Terral, Ethan Terral, Scott Terral, Mike Bruce, Johnny Sweat, and Keith Griffith.
