Marlene Andrews Poole, 84, of Jena, passed from this life on Thursday, November 30, 2017, at her residence.
She was born February 6, 1933 in Jena to the union of her parents, Richard “Dick” and Ruth Jackson Andrews.
Mrs. Poole was a homemaker.
Services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 3, at Aimoch Baptist Church in the Aimoch Community with the Revs. Bobby McGuire and Brandon Poole officiating.
Interment followed in the Randall Cemetery in the Aimoch Community under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Laevon S. Poole; brother, Joe E. Andrews; sons, Laevon Steve Poole, Jr. and Jackie Laevon Poole; daughter, Anita Poole and granddaughter, Marcie Swayze Koch.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Margaret Poole Powell and husband Buddy of Aimwell; daughter-in-law, Carrie Poole; granddaughters, Stephanie Poole Breland of Aimwell, Jessica Swayze Bennett and husband Greg of Benton and Kelly Poole of Jena; grandson, Jesse Laevon Poole of Aimwell; great grandchildren, Quint DeJean, Cade Koch, Cameron Koch, Jensyn Goeggle, Brixton Breland, Brady Bennett, Beau Bennett, Christopher Jake Poole, Audrey Poole, Cason Poole, Jax Poole, Gauge Ford and Karly Ford; a very special nephew, Larry Joe Andrews; and a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers were Jesse Poole, Quint DeJean, Cade Koch, Christopher Jake Poole, John Goeggle, Chad Breland, Gauge Ford and Cameron Koch.
Honorary pallbearers were Larry Joe Andrews, Paul Andrews, Eddie Westbrooks and J. F. Westbrooks, Sr.
