John W. King, 70, of Jena, passed peacefully from this life on Sunday, November 19, 2017, at his residence in Jena after a long battle with cancer.
John was a native of Alabama, born on December 11, 1946.
Best known as Mr. John or “Paw”, he loved fishing and wood working, but most of all he loved sitting on his porch visiting with his best buddies, Johnnie “Be Good” Porter and James Farrington.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Orlean King; and his cat, Bella.
John will be missed by many.
