
Elton Ray Pardue, 68, of Georgetown, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born October 15, 1948 at Chatham.
Elton Ray served in the United States Army in the 101st Airborne division having served in Vietnam and Germany. He was also a truck driver.
Those left to cherish a life time of memories include his wife, Martha Pardue of Georgetown; children, Michelle and Donnie Temple of Winnsboro, Nicole Pardue of Winnsboro, James Pardue of Olla, Mary Pardue of Urania, Joseph and Joshalin Pardue of Georgetown, and Elton Ray Pardue of Jonesboro; step-children, James Paul Scogin of Conroe, TX, Amanda Jean Sunderland of Olla, and Mitchell Scogin of Coldspring, TX; grandchildren, Kimberly Risen, Ashley Dean, James Duplichan, Heather Duplichan, Shelton Swartwout, Trinity Bass, Destiny Cody, James Lucas, Sarah Pardue, Javier Arteaga, Fabiola Arteaga, Noah Pardue, Shiahan Pardue, Dustin Smith, Christopher Pardue, Jacob Sunderland, Kristen Sunderland, Hailey Sunderland, Brianna Scogin, James Scogin, Paul Scogin, Morgan Scogin, James Bailey, and Mitchell Scogin; and great grandchildren, Bryson Swartwout, and Kristen Swartwout.
Upon his request, the family lovingly chose cremation.
