Scherry Coldiron Case, 67, of Jonesville, passed from this life on Monday, July 3, 2017, at The Columns Nursing Home in Jonesville. She was born November 5, 1949 in Jonesville to the union of her parents, Johnnie and Edna Wade Coldiron. Scherry was a member of Wallace Ridge Pentecostal Church and a former member of Lake Lilly and Grace Baptist Church. She worked for fifteen years as a Special Education Teacher’s Aide for Catahoula Parish Schools and also worked for fifteen years, at the Catahoula Parish Library for a total of 30 years. She enjoyed gardening, reading, walking, hunting, fishing, traveling and sightseeing. She received the most joy by spending time with her family while drinking a cup of coffee. Services were held at 10 a.m., Friday, July 7, at Wallace Ridge Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Frank Bass and Todd Tucker officiating. Interment followed in the Heard Cemetery of Manifest under direction of Comer Funeral Home of Ferriday. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jimmy Case; one son, Justin B. Case; one brother, Randy Coldiron; and one nephew, Andy Coldiron. She is survived by her two sons, Todd Case of Aimwell, and Britt Case and wife Judy of Harrisonburg; four brothers, Johnnie Coldiron and wife Becky of Sicily Island, Russell Coldiron of Jonesville, Larry Coldiron of Jonesville, and Maxie Coldiron and wife Cheryl of Vidalia; five granddaughters, Emily, Megan, Havana, Natalie, and Navie; and five grandsons, Travis, Tyler, Randy, Evan, and Greyson; five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Evan Case, Tanner Coldiron, Trent Coldiron, Tucker Coldiron, Garrett Harrigill, Tyler Coleman, Greyson Case, and Randy Case. Honorary pallbearers were Travis Perdue Case, Andrew Hefner, and John, Russ, Chris, Matt, Michael, Caleb, Jesse, Jacob, and Shawn Coldiron.
