Kathy Waggoner, 72, of Olla, passed from this life on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria.
She was born October 7, 1944 in Lake Charles to the union of her parents, William and Clydean Waggoner.
She graduated from NSU in education Cum Laude. She was a devoted LSU and Saints fan and loved her family and animals.
Services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, June 12, from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Olla.
Interment followed in the Olla Cemetery under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Olla.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Margaret Waggoner; grandson, Craig Bond; and best friend, Charlotte Underwood.
She is survived by her sons, Keith Allen and his wife Charlotte of Vinton; Trey Crichton and his wife Amy of Lake Charles; daughters, Kristi Underwood and her husband Shane of Olla, and Kerri Knight and husband Danny of Olla; grandchildren, Brandon Allen, Jerra Ates, Lindsey Knight, Michael Knight, Samantha Guidry, Madalyn Allen, David Austin Wallace, Christopher Allen, Daniel Allen, and Richard Crichton; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Rodney Andrews, Johnny Dugan, Richard Finlay, Jr., Michael Knight, Tyler Delrie, and Danny Guidry.
