
Michael Paul Wayde Wilson, 18, of Jena, passed from this life on Sunday, May 28, 2017, at Hebert, after a tree fell on the mobile home in which he was an occupant.
He was born July 4, 1998 in Alexandria.
Services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 1, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. John Tyler, Truman Stagg and Kevin Manuel officiating.
Interment followed in the Woodland Cemetery, east of Jena, under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc. of Jena.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Ulila Wilson.
Those left to cherish his memory include his fiancé, Harley Taylor; parents, James Thomas LaCroix and wife Nikki, and Monica Michelle Wilson; step mother, Teresa Morgan; brothers, Troy Almaguer, J. B. Wilson, Trey Walter, Dakota Wilkinson, Danny Cupid, Jamie Scheuermann and Steven McGuire; sisters, Briana Clark, Courtney Clark, Stormy Cameron, Katy Scheuermann and Brooklyn Miller; paternal grandparents, Sheila Parker, Tommy Wayne Bell, Sr. and Tammy, Jim and Karen Spaulding and Wanda Morgan; maternal grandparent, Frances Wilson.
Pallbearers were Delmar Cockerham, Jeffery Thornton, Jr., Troy Almaguer, Junior Cameron, Little Mark Garret, Steven McGuire and Kyle Smith.
Honorary pallbearers were JB Wilson, Joseph Smith, David Herron and James Smith.
