Richard Elvin Lanier, 61, of Jena, passed from this life at his residence on Saturday, February 11, 2017.
He was born April 8, 1955 in Jena to the family of Stid and Betty Lou Lanier.
Ricky worked as a pumper for Hunt Petroleum Oil Company for 20 years.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 14, in Hair Cemetery with Rev. Gary Norris officiating.
Interment followed under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Monty Carol Smith Lanier; parents; a sister, Margaret Smith; and an infant brother.
Survivors include three daughters, Danna Walker and husband Kit, Mandi Brooks and husband Brad and Alaina Breithaupt and husband David, all of Jena; two brothers, Wayne Lanier and wife Denise and Steve Lanier and wife Scarlet, all of Jena; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Brad Brooks, Peyton Walker, Wayne Lanier, Jarod Lanier, Derek Wiggins and Carl Husbands.
Honorary pallbearers were Steve Lanier, David Allbritton, David Eubanks and Jack Lanier
